- Steam Deck: text fields now open Steam’s on-screen keyboard in controller mode – renaming cities, searching the Annhexopedia and entering map seeds all work without a physical keyboard
- Fixed the end-of-game screen being unusable with a gamepad – graphs, standings and the Main Menu button are now navigable, and B returns to the menu
- The nuclear arsenal, carrier air wings and buying city tiles are now fully controller-accessible
- Nuclear arsenal and carrier aircraft appear on the command wheel; purchasable tiles are selectable on the city screen
- Controller players now see controller button prompts everywhere – dialogs no longer show keyboard hints like “[Esc]” in controller mode, and the tutorial advisor shows its buttons
- Dropdown menus in New Game no longer drift away from their buttons at larger HUD scales
- Crisper city names and tile yields on the map at the Low and Medium graphics presets
- Steam Deck: removed controls that could trap the game behind an invisible window (file import/export dialogs, fullscreen toggle, external web links)
- Slightly larger text on the smallest UI labels – build queue buttons, unit health, command wheel and End Turn
- Fixed the Quit button falling off the bottom of the home screen on small screens (Steam Deck)
- Waking the desktop app from sleep now shows “Resuming…” instead of “Reconnecting…” – nothing is connecting to the internet
- Fixed a unit’s health pips jumping instantly to the defender’s hex when it wins a melee attack – they now slide with the unit
